Owner, Jim Bierbower, grew up in Wakefield, NE. After moving to Lincoln for college, he began working in landscaping and developed a true passion for the industry. After three years working for a local company, he decided to start his own; going door to door introducing himself to prospective clients. JB’s has now been in business since 2014. Jim strives to maintain the small-town values from which his business is based.

Jim’s family is his biggest motivation. He and his wife Alison have been married for 5 years. They have a daughter, Brixton, and a golden retriever, Harvey. Jim and Alison attend Christ’s Place Church and have been involved in TRAC Life, a summer camp and mentoring program that serves youth in the Foster Care system.

When Jim first started landscaping it was just a “summer job”. Now, it’s a passion fueled by the ability to provide an excellent product, workplace, and culture that employees are proud to be a part of.
